Inox Green Completes ₹550 Crore Payment for Wind World’s 4.5 GW O&M Business

Inox Green Energy Services has completed payment of ₹550 crore for the acquisition of Wind World India’s wind operations and maintenance business, covering approximately 4.5 GW of installed wind capacity. Payment was made through subsidiary Vibhav Energy on October 6 under a National Company Law Tribunal-approved resolution plan. The acquired business generated approximately ₹580 crore in FY2026 revenue and includes contracts with Tata Group, ReNew, Greenko, Apraava Energy and Hindustan Zinc. Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners Invests in 20-Project Italian Biomethane Platform

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners has reached a final investment decision on Via Verde, an Italian biomethane development platform comprising 20 projects. The investment is being made through CIP’s Advanced Bioenergy Fund II and represents the fund’s first investment. Projects are planned across Lombardy, Abruzzo, Campania and other Italian regions. Each facility is expected to process approximately 60,000–100,000 tonnes of agricultural waste annually. Once fully developed, the portfolio is expected to produce approximately 1 TWh of biomethane per year, equivalent to the annual gas consumption of around 60,000 Italian households. The plants will convert agricultural residues and other sustainable feedstocks into renewable gas.

Pacolet Milliken Acquires 116 MW Georgia Biomass Power Portfolio

US infrastructure investor Pacolet Milliken has acquired 100 percent of Georgia Renewable Power, owner of two biomass electricity generation facilities in Franklin and Madison counties, Georgia. The acquired plants have 116 MW of combined generating capacity and sell electricity to Georgia Power under long-term power purchase agreements. Both facilities use woody biomass as fuel and generate renewable-energy credits. Financing was provided by Manulife, although the acquisition consideration was not disclosed. Pacolet entered the biomass sector in 2024 through its acquisition of the 55 MW Piedmont Green Power plant in Barnesville, Georgia. The latest transaction increases Pacolet’s biomass generation portfolio to approximately 171 MW. Vinson & Elkins and Genesis Capital advised on legal and financing arrangements.
