Future Biogas Acquires Remaining 49% Stake in Six UK Biomethane Plants for £104 Million
UK renewable-gas producer Future Biogas has acquired the remaining 49 percent ownership interest in six anaerobic digestion plants from Foresight Environmental Infrastructure for £104 million. Announced October 26, the transaction gives Future Biogas complete ownership of the portfolio. The six gas-to-grid facilities have previously been reported to produce approximately 333 GWh of renewable gas annually.
