Goldbeck Solar Delivers 90MWp Solar Park in Poland

Goldbeck Solar has completed a 90 MWp solar park in Brudzew, central Poland, for Energa Green Development, part of the Energa Group. The project comprises several interconnected installations. The strategy supports Poland’s shift from coal toward renewable energy. Investment focuses on expanding national solar infrastructure. The technology used is utility-scale photovoltaic systems. Customer focus targets grid integration through a national utility. Goldbeck Solar led engineering, procurement, and construction, and will manage ongoing operations and maintenance. Avantus Secures Over $500 mn to Advance Solar and Storage Project in California

Yesterday, Avantus announced it closed financing of more than $500 million for its Aratina 1 project, provided by a consortium of four lenders led by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Truist Securities, ING Capital, and Mizuho. The financing package includes construction funding, a tax equity bridge loan and letters of credit. Located in Kern County, California, the project will deliver 200 megawatts (MW) of solar and 500 megawatt-hours (MWh) of energy storage capacity to the California grid, and create up to 250 jobs, generating tax revenue to support local services throughout its operating life. The project has signed 20-year power purchase agreements with multiple Community Choice Aggregators (CCAs) in California. Construction is underway, with operations expected to begin in 2026.

Meta Supports 150MW Geothermal Project in New Mexico with XGS

Meta is supporting XGS Energy, a Fervo Energy subsidiary, in developing a 150 MW geothermal power project in New Mexico. The strategy adds geothermal to Meta’s renewable portfolio alongside wind and solar. Investment enables deployment of closed-loop geothermal technology, offering stable, baseload clean energy. Technology focus centers on advanced systems to harness subsurface heat without fluid loss. The project will serve Meta’s data centers. Customer focus is on securing consistent, renewable electricity for operations. Innovation includes scalable geothermal deployment.
