PowerCell Secures SEK 4.3 mn Order from Zeppelin Power Systems for EU-Funded Hydrogen Project in Greece

PowerCell Group has received an order valued at SEK 4.3 million from Zeppelin Power Systems for the delivery of two Power Generation System 100 (PS100) units and engineering services. The systems will be deployed in an EU-funded Just Transition Fund (JTF) project supporting Greece’s shift from fossil fuels to clean energy in Western Macedonia. Scheduled for delivery in 2026, the project integrates solar power, hydrogen production, storage, and fuel-cell-based electricity generation. It will include a 100 kW stationary fuel-cell power generator for nighttime and emergency use, and a 40 kW mobile generator for flexible, off-grid applications. Zeppelin will oversee system integration and certification, while PowerCell supplies its standardized PS100 platform. The initiative, backed by around EUR 20 million in JTF funding, aims to enhance local energy resilience and promote sustainable development in the region.
