Nordex Secures 110MW Wind Turbine Order for Türkiye’s Balıkesir-3 Project
Nordex Group has won a 110MW turbine supply and installation contract from Eksim Enerji for the Balıkesir-3 wind farm in Türkiye, strengthening the country’s renewable energy expansion. The renewable energy project will use 16 advanced N175/6.X wind turbines mounted on 119-meter steel towers and equipped with cold-climate technology to improve performance in challenging weather conditions. The agreement also includes a 10-year Premium Service contract, ensuring long-term operational reliability, efficiency, and customer-focused maintenance support. Located in the Balıkesir province, the wind farm highlights innovation in high-capacity turbine technology, local manufacturing integration, and sustainable energy infrastructure.
