Ford Motor has reported 14.2 percent increase in U.S. sales for the second-quarter of 2025, boosting its market share to an estimated 14.3 percent. The company’s strong performance was driven by gains across all major segments — electric, hybrid, truck, SUV, and luxury — demonstrating the success of its diversified product strategy.

Electrified vehicle sales reached a record 82,886 units in the second-quarter, a 6.6 percent year-over-year increase, and accounted for 13.5 percent of total vehicle sales. For the first half of the year, Ford sold 156,509 electrified vehicles, up 14.7 percent, outpacing the combined electrified sales of GM and Stellantis.

Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning, and E-Transit continued to perform strongly, averaging nearly 13,000 units per nameplate. Hybrids contributed the bulk of electrified sales, with Maverick Hybrid maintaining its lead as the top-selling hybrid pickup and F-150 Hybrid dominating the full-size pickup hybrid category.

Ford’s truck business remained the backbone of its portfolio. F-Series sales rose 11.5 percent to 222,459 units in the second quarter, marking the best Q2 performance since 2019 and solidifying F-Series as the top-selling truck in America for the first half.

The compact Maverick posted a record quarter with 48,041 units sold — up 26.3 percent, with nearly 60 percent of buyers new to Ford. Ranger sales rebounded 36.3 percent, driven by demand for the Raptor and Tremor variants.

SUVs also saw broad-based growth. Expedition sales surged 43.9 percent to 31,298 units, the best second-quarter result in 20 years. Navigator jumped 115 percent to 7,355 units, its best Q2 in 21 years. The Bronco family delivered a combined 78,543 units, up 44.7 percent, with the Bronco model alone growing 51.3 percent year-over-year. Off-road performance variants like Raptor, Tremor, Timberline, and FX4 now represent over 20 percent of Ford’s U.S. sales mix.

Luxury division Lincoln recorded its strongest second-quarter performance since 2007, with sales up 31 percent to 31,332 units. Navigator led the gains with a 115 percent increase, supported by growth in Nautilus (+19.3 percent), Corsair (+4.5 percent), and Aviator (+28.0 percent).

Ford also expanded its digital and service offerings. Ford Pro Intelligence, the company’s commercial vehicle software platform, now has over 750,000 active paid subscriptions, up more than 20 percent from a year ago.

BlueCruise hands-free driving tech reached over 6 million cumulative hours. Mobile Service and Pickup & Delivery options also saw growth, with 578,899 Mobile Service experiences delivered in Q2, a 21 percent increase from the prior year.

Looking ahead, Ford plans to begin shipping the new Explorer Tremor and F-150 Lobo in Q3, expanding its off-road and street performance offerings and reinforcing its leadership in high-performance and lifestyle-oriented vehicles.
