BMW Accelerates Electric Vehicle Sales with 10% Growth in Jan-Sept 2025, Driving Global EV Adoption

BMW Group continues to strengthen its position in the global electric vehicle (EV) market, reporting significant growth in electrified vehicle deliveries in the first nine months of 2025. From January to September, BMW delivered 323,447 fully-electric vehicles, marking a 10 percent year-on-year increase. BMW’s total electrified vehicles, including plug-in hybrids (PHEVs), reached 470,313 units (+15 percent) during January to September.

BMW’s strong EV performance reflects growing consumer demand for sustainable mobility solutions. Jochen Goller, Board Member of BMW AG, highlighted that “demand for our wide range of electrified vehicles remains strong,” with particularly robust sales in Europe and the Americas.

BMW M GmbH reported 158,182 deliveries (+7.9 percent), while Rolls-Royce delivered 4,100 vehicles (+3.3 percent), and BMW Motorrad achieved 159,156 motorcycles and scooters (-2.6 percent), reflecting steady performance across BMW’s premium and luxury segments.

With the continued expansion of its electric lineup, BMW Group is positioning itself at the forefront of global EV adoption, offering a diverse portfolio of fully-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles to meet the increasing demand for green mobility solutions.
