Solid Solar Commissions 20 MWp Himalayan Solar Project Using Gautam Solar TOPCon Modules
Indian renewable-energy engineering company Solid Solar has commissioned a 20 MWp photovoltaic power project at Malna/Patara village in Uttarkashi district, Uttarakhand. Announced October 29, the installation uses n-type TOPCon bifacial modules supplied by Gautam Solar. The project was developed on mountainous terrain at an elevation exceeding 5,000 feet above sea level. Construction required specialised engineering because of steep slopes, rocky ground and restricted transportation access. The developer used detailed terrain modelling, modified foundation methods and specialised material-handling arrangements to install the photovoltaic equipment. The project represents a completed solar commissioning milestone in a challenging geographical location. Investment value, annual electricity generation and electricity offtake arrangements were not disclosed.
Datta Infra Signs 110 MW Wind Power Agreement with SJVN at ₹3.64 per Unit
Adyant Alpha Power, part of Datta Infra Group, has signed a power purchase agreement with SJVN for a 110 MW wind energy project in Davanagere district, Karnataka. Announced October 31, the agreement follows the company’s successful participation in SJVN’s 600 MW interstate transmission-connected wind tender. Adyant secured the capacity at a tariff of ₹3.64 per kWh. The letter of award was issued in March 2026, making the newly signed power purchase agreement a subsequent commercial milestone. Datta Infra says its cumulative signed renewable electricity agreements now exceed 600 MW. The group has commissioned approximately 50 MW and has more than 300 MW of wind projects under construction.
Elementum Energy Secures Auction Support for 57.6 MW Danube Wind Project in Ukraine
Renewable-energy developer Elementum Energy has secured support for its 57.6 MW Danube wind project in Ukraine’s southern Odesa region. The auction result was announced October 30. Elementum submitted a successful bid of 5.95 euro cents per kWh in the country’s renewable electricity support auction. The procurement attracted 93 bids representing more than 1.2 GW of capacity, compared with a 700 MW support quota. Winning tariffs ranged from 2.98 to 7.40 euro cents per kWh, with a weighted average of 5.93 euro cents. The Danube project is under construction, with commissioning targeted for Q1 2027.
