PNE WIND receives approval for the UK wind farm project Penbreck

PNE WIND, the wind farm project developer, announced its UK subsidiary PNE WIND UK has received approval from South Lanarkshire Council’s planning committee for the Penbreck wind farm near Muirkirk.

South Lanarkshire Council approved six turbines and another three turbines for East Ayrshire will be considered as a separate application.

The Penbreck Wind Farm’s turbines will have a tip height of 125m maximum with an installed capacity of 3 MW and total potential output of 27 MW.

Markus Lesser, chief operational officer, PNEWIND, said, “The receipt of this project permit marks a landmark in the development of UK wind farm portfolio reflects the result of team effort by company’s Edinburgh division.”
