Greentech Lead America: Vela Solaris, a provider of
simulation software for the renewable energy sector, has launched the new
Polysun 5.9 software, a regularly updated and expanded database on the market.
The new Polysun 5.9 release will include 1,096
manufacturers. The software will provide instant access to accurate weather
data for any site worldwide, allowing the user flexibility, data access and
accurate simulation reports in minutes.
Vela Solaris claims that regularly updated and accurately
checked catalogs are making data input easier for the user. Certified data from
internationally approved testing institutes are a guarantee for accurate
simulations.
The catalogs include 1,074 collectors for the U.S. market
(2,582 for the European market), 43,621 PV-modules, 6,194 inverters as well as
665 heat pumps allowing quick, accurate design.
Polysun 5.9 provides worldwide weather data from 8,300
weather stations. An online map makes it possible to design and calculate solar
systems in any location worldwide as weather data from the surrounding stations
are accurately interpolated for the selected site.
The user manual was enhanced with a new 6 page section
dedicated to working with Polysun Designer. This provides additional
documentation as well as useful tips for daily usage of this software.
