SECI announces second round of bid for roof top solar PV system in select cities

Greentech Lead India: The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has invited second round of bidding for implementation of grid connected roof top solar PV system scheme in select cities and states in India.

The size of each project is in the range of 100kWP to 500 kWp.  A single bidder can apply for a minimum capacity of 250kWp to a maximum of 2 MWp capacity. The bidder has the liberty to choose their “Owner”. Total allocation capacity is 11.1 MW.

Allocation for each city is as below:

Bhubaneswar/Cuttack – 1 MW

Gurgaon–1.5 MW

Hyderabad– 2.0 MW

Jaipur — 3.1 MW

Noida/ Greater Noida –1.5 MW

Raipur/ Naya Raipur– 2.0 MW

SECI will provide 30 percent of the Project Cost as quoted by the Successful Bidder in Price Bid as subsidy.

Subsidy equivalent to 20 percent of the Project Cost will be released after Commissioning and acceptance of project.

Subsidy equivalent to 5 percent of the Project Cost will be released at the end of 1 year of O&M period from date of commissioning.

Remaining subsidy equivalent to 5 percent of the Project Cost will be released at the end of 2 years of O&M period from date of commissioning.

However, the subsidies will be disbursed upon meeting the conditions mentioned in the RFS document.   Bidder is responsible to complete the design, engineering, manufacture, supply, storage, civil work, erection, testing and commissioning of each project within 6 months from the date of issue of sanction letter.
