LG Electronics USA is introducing its solar modules in the US commercial market in collaboration with Borrego Solar Systems.
Under an agreement the companies have signed, LG is to supply its LG Mono X NeON 2 modules of the 60- and 72-cell configurations for total capacity of 135 megawatts.
The supply of modules is to continue through 2016 to Borrego Solar, which, in turn, will sell them in the commercial sector in North America.
LG expects the agreement to increase supply of its modules in North America. The agreement also increases the number of LG products in Borrego Solar’s portfolio.
