JinkoSolar to develop 200 MW PV power plant in Lingwu City

JinkoSolar, a provider in the solar PV industry, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the local government of Lingwu City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, to develop a 200 MW ground-mounted PV power plant.

Under the terms of the agreement, JinkoSolar will invest and build PV industrial base in Lingwu. JinkoSolar will build a 200MW ground-mounted PV power plant and invest in a number of PV related supporting facilities in Lingwu.

Jjinkosolar LogoThe project will begin construction according to the approval status of the local Development and Reform Commission, allowing for the power generated from the plant to be connected to the State Grid. The investment related to the project is expected to be approximately RMB 4.6 billion.

JinkoSolar, which has operations in Jiangxi and Zhejiang Provinces in China, has built a vertically integrated solar product value chain, with an integrated annual capacity of approximately 1.5 GW each for silicon ingots, wafers, and solar PV cells, and approximately 1.8 GW for solar PV modules, as of September 30, 2013.
