By Greentech Lead Australia: Energy Infrastructure
Global, a design build renewable energy infrastructure firm, has opened two new
offices, one in Australia, and one on Pohnpei in The Federated States of
Micronesia.
“Australia and the Federated States of Micronesia
will give EIG two strategic locations for expansion into the North and South
Pacific. These two dynamic locations will enable our firm to capitalize on the
strengths of the various Renewable Energy markets throughout the world,”
said Sean Angelini, executive vice president and COO, EIG.
EIG’s Australian office will be located in the Gold Coast
strategically positioned on the East Coast of Australia, due in part to their
solar radiation per square meter being one of the highest averages of any
continent in the world.
EIG’s Micronesia office is located in the Country’s
capital Kolonia Pohnpei. The location for the new office was
selected in consideration of their total dependence on diesel fuel and the
commitment of the Federated States of Micronesia towards Renewable Energy as
well as their overall planned reduction of their carbon footprint which will
inevitably help against the raising costs of energy.
EIG has partnered with a local Pohnpei company, VCS
Construction, who has an excellent reputation for implementing infrastructure
projects throughout Micronesia by getting projects completed on time and within
budget.
“We are like minded companies partnering together
towards the same goals, to enrich the community of Micronesia with clean stable
power at reasonable rates. We are proud to be part of the EIG team in helping
to improve the Federated States of Micronesia with the latest in renewable
energy technologies and services,” said Jose Sannicolas, president of VCS
Construction.
