Ecoplexus, a developer of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, announced it is undertaking 25-MW DC portfolio of projects across California.
The projects are a combination of carport and ground-mounted installations, connecting behind-the-meter at a number of state facilities. Onsite facilities include state hospitals, military bases and a variety of other facilities.
The projects will supply approximately 30.5 gigawatt-hours of clean electricity annually.
The first 7 MW will be completed in August 2015, while the remaining projects are scheduled to complete construction in the spring of 2017.
“We are pleased to play a role in satisfying California’s growing demand for clean energy,” said John Gorman, CEO of Ecoplexus. “California has set a great example for other states to follow, and we are eager to support its efforts going forward.”
