Dynamic Solar receives $30 million NY-SUN Funding

Greentech Lead America: Dynamic Solar, a fully-integrated
solar developer, has been selected to receive a $30 million NY-Sun funding
award from New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo. The Governor’s NY-Sun initiative
aims to assist businesses and other facilities in generating electricity from
solar power.

Dynamic will use this funding to finance commercial and
industrial photovoltaic projects at sites throughout New York City and the
lower Hudson Valley. The projects will be online in 2013.

Projects under this program may be sited at New York
manufacturing facilities, colleges and universities, schools, department
stores, apartment complexes and other locations.

“These awards will help large commercial and
industrial businesses to invest in solar power, stimulating economic
development while helping reduce use of fossil fuels and greenhouse gases
emissions. Through the NY-Sun program, the state continues to be a leader in
the development of solar energy and making solar power a more attractive option
for businesses,” said Governor Cuomo.

The funding is administered by the New York State Energy
Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) through the Renewable Portfolio
Standard Customer-Sited Tier Regional Program.
