Waste Management has acquired Oak Grove Disposal, a recycling and waste collection company in Oregon.

The announcement follows Waste Management’s similar acquisitions recently including Gruetter Sanitary and Trashmasters in Multnomah County.

The acquisition will add Oak Grove Disposal’s more than 10,000 Milwaukie and Clackamas County residential customers to Waste Management’s more than 23,000 customers in the area.

Earlier this month, Waste Management  also acquired Summit Energy Services and Liquid Logistics, two Williston, North Dakota, energy services companies, as part of its strategies to enhance environmental service offerings in oil and gas industry.

In January, Waste Management subsidiary, WM Recycle America, had acquired Greenstar from NTR.

Waste Management reported it has earned $3.53 billion in revenues for the second quarter of 2013 compared with $3.46 billion for the same 2012 period.

Net income for the quarter was $244 million, or $0.52 per diluted share, compared with $208 million, or $0.45 per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2012, a 15.6 percent increase.
