Ray Hurt joins LED light engines provider TerraLUX as VP of sales

: TerraLUX, a producer of fully
integrated LED Light Engines and Modules, announced that it has appointed Ray
Hurt as vice president of sales for their Illumination Division, effective
February 1, 2012.

Hurt brings over 25 years of lighting and electronics
experience to the company. Most recently he served as vice president of sales
in Philips Lighting Electronics and represented Philips Lighting as a founding
member of Electri 21.

“Ray’s expertise and leadership skills in the
illumination market will contribute tremendously to the explosive growth in
sales of integrated LED light engines and modules that we will experience at
TerraLUX,” said Mark Verheyen, president & CEO, TerraLUX.

Hurt has served as a member of the National Electrical
Manufacturers Representative Association (NEMRA) Manufacturers’ Committee, as
well as Affiliated Distributors (A-D) Manufacturers’ Advisory Council. In
addition, he was a member of National Association of Electrical Distributors
(NAED) Manufacturers’ Group and served on numerous industry task forces. Ray.

Hurt holds a degree in Business Administration from the
Illinois State University.

TerraLUX recently announced the expansion of
its Board of Directors to include former Philips Lighting Electronics CEO Brian
R. Dundon.
