Green Technologies (CGT), a provider of eco-technology for green roof systems,
announced the expansion of its sales operation to the Central and Eastern
regions of the United States.
In 2010, the green roof industry
grew by 28.5 percent, according to SustainableBusiness.com. This growth is
accelerated by the fact that many U.S. cities are now actively addressing the
challenges of stormwater management due to the deterioration of existing
stormwater infrastructure and the resultant combined sewer overflows (CSO).
“As part of our ongoing national
growth strategy we are pleased to announce significant additions to our
organization with the establishment of our new sales headquarters, in Boston,
which will further support our efforts in the eastern and central territories,”
said Greg Love, COO, Columbia Green.
Based in the new Boston office,
Kelly Ferguson has been appointed as the new sales director. Ferguson
brings extensive experience and a strong track record in management, marketing,
and sales. Together with Columbia Green’s major partners Firestone, Kemper,
Derbigum and Malarkey, she will be driving sales with their independent sales
groups.
“We are thrilled to have Ferguson
join our ever-evolving Columbia Green team as we forecast to triple sales for
this coming year. She brings the kind of energy and experience that fits
perfectly with our rapidly growing business model. It is my belief that Kelly will
be one of the key contributors to our success,” said Vanessa Keitges, CEO,
Columbia Green.
