Greentech Lead Asia: China BAK Battery, a manufacturer of
lithium-based battery cells, will attend the 2nd China International Smart Grid
Technology and Equipment Exhibition to be held in Shanghai, China, from May
9-11, 2012.
“We are looking forward to the opportunity to
showcase our products at one of the largest power grid construction exhibitions,
which is a high potential end market in the new energy industry,” said
Xiangqian Li, CEO of China BAK.
At the event, China BAK will showcase its
energy-storage power solutions for use in solar
power stations, wind power stations, smart grids, household energy storage,
standby batteries in mobile communication base stations, and uninterruptible
power supplies.
The company’s energy-storage power solution consists of a
number of cells based on mature 18650 cell technology and is based on module
standardization and techniques.
The company believes this exhibition will provide an
attractive platform to demonstrate its product portfolio and R&D
achievements to the attendees.
“We believe our potential customers in the energy-storage
power segment will have a better understanding of our products and R&D
capabilities, enhancing our visibility in the industry and further expanding
our end market,” added Li.
China BAK Battery signs deal to supply lithium-ion battery
units to Chery Automobile
Recently, China BAK Battery signed a new contract to
supply 1,000 lithium-ion battery units to Chery Automobile.
