SolarEdge Unveils Solar EV Charging Solution for Businesses

SolarEdge has launched a solar-powered EV charging solution aimed at cutting business fleet costs. The system features the SolarEdge ONE EV Charger, supporting single and three-phase power, and integrates with energy management software to prioritize solar, battery, or grid usage. Users can scale up to 20x more chargers on existing infrastructure. Businesses like BV-comOffice reported 70 percent savings. It includes tiered charging priorities and AI assistant “Olivia” for support. The solution enhances SolarEdge’s C&I ecosystem, enabling smarter, cost-effective EV fleet management powered by clean energy.

EcoFlow Launches Plug-and-Play Solar System for Apartments and Homes

EcoFlow has introduced the Stream Series, the first U.S. plug-and-play solar system designed for apartments, condos, and single-family homes. It plugs into a standard 120V outlet, eliminating complex setup. The Stream Ultra features a 1.92kWh battery (expandable to 11.52kWh) and a microinverter handling up to 2000W solar input. Users can monitor usage via EcoFlow’s Oasis app. Currently available in Utah, prices start at $299, with launch discounts valid through July 31. This innovation brings sustainable energy solutions to more compact and rental-friendly living spaces.

Ideematec and Parliament Energy Holdings Extend U.S. Solar Partnership

Ideematec and Parliament Energy Holdings (PEH) have extended their partnership after completing the 640 MWdc Parliament Solar project near Houston, Texas. The project used over 6,000 Horizon 1P trackers, which remained intact through Hurricane Beryl and ten hail events during construction. Ideematec will now supply trackers for PEH’s 2.1 GW solar pipeline in Texas. The next project, a 650 MWdc installation south of Dallas, is scheduled to begin construction in late 2025. This agreement supports the development of utility-scale solar infrastructure across the region.

ProLogium and Kyushu Electric Collaborate on 24V Lithium Ceramic Battery for Heavy Machinery

ProLogium Technology and Kyushu Electric Power have announced a partnership to co-develop a 24V Lithium Ceramic Battery (LCB) module designed for construction machinery. ProLogium will supply the LCB cells, while Kyushu Electric will handle module design and integration. The LCB modules feature a fully inorganic electrolyte and a 100 percent silicon composite anode, offering high energy density and thermal stability. They are engineered for performance in low temperatures and support fast charging to reduce equipment downtime. The collaboration aims to enhance energy efficiency and safety in heavy machinery operations. The joint technology will be showcased at CES 2026.
