Hertz to promote electric vehicle charging network of Source London

Greentech Lead Europe: Hertz will promote Source London’s
electric vehicle (EV) charging network to Hertz customers.

The initiative will be to support London’s vision of
becoming an electric capital of Europe.

Hertz will provide free access to Source London’s network
to its customers when they rent Hertz On Demand car share EVs. Hertz will also
promote Source London at its London EV rental locations and on their website.

“We’re excited to support Source London in its
efforts to build an electric vehicle charging network across Greater London. At
Hertz we’ve committed to pioneering smart mobility, including rentals of
electric vehicles, which can benefit from Source London’s extensive network,”
said Michel Taride, president, Hertz International and executive vice
president, Hertz Corporation.

In the UK, Hertz
operates 16 Source London funded charging points at six locations across
Greater London including London Heathrow and London City Airport.

Hertz
and IBM to advance electric vehicle mobility

Recently, Hertz and IBM announced that they are
conducting a pilot program in Germany to advance electric vehicle mobility and
user adoption through intelligent recharging solutions. Hertz On Demand, a
global car sharing club, will supply electric vehicles to IBM employees to
drive between Stuttgart Airport and the company’s campus in Ehningen.
