Car Charging brings EV charging services to Crescent Heights’ residential complex in Florida

Greentech Lead America: Car Charging Group, a provider of
convenient electric vehicle (EV) charging services, has partnered with Crescent
Heights Management, a developer of residential communities in the United
States, to offer its EV charging services at The Slade, a multifamily
residential complex located at East Washington in Tampa, Florida.

CarCharging provides EV charging services at The Slade
via a charging station manufactured by Coulomb Technologies, which is connected
to the nationwide ChargePoint network.

“As a part of our continuing effort to provide our residents
with the most environmentally friendly living, we have recently added an EV
Charging Station to the main parking deck. With a growing number of residents
driving Hybrid and EV vehicles, The Slade has joined the Tampa City Government
and the ‘AAA,’ amongst others, to make driving a fuel-efficient EV car more
practical,” said Linda Darwish, community association manager at The
Slade.

CarCharging installs Coulomb
Technologies EV fast charging station, known as Level II, which
provides 240 volts with 32 amps of power to quickly refuel an electric
vehicle’s battery.

CarCharging’s EV charging stations utilize the
standard SAE J1772 connector widely adopted by nearly all automobile manufacturers.
EV drivers can easily register and create a CarCharging account online, and
attach an RFID card to their keychain to initiate use and payment at any
intelligent CarCharging station. The CarCharging keychain card also allows
drivers to use charging locations on the ChargePoint Network.

“CarCharging is pleased to build upon its existing
relationship with Crescent Heights by now providing its EV charging services at
The Slade residence in Tampa. We look forward to future installations at
additional properties which will make EV charging services more accessible for
all of Crescent Heights’ residents,” said Michael D. Farkas, chief
executive officer of CarCharging.

Car Charging Group expands electric vehicle charging services
to Lower Manhattan

Recently, Car Charging Group opened its new electric
vehicle charging services at the Rapid Park garage at 25 Beekman Street, lower
Manhattan. The new charging services provide Coulomb Technologies EV fast
charging station, known as Level II, which provides 240 volts with 32 amps of
power to quickly refuel an EV’s battery.
